Dear Colleague,

the 11th Gravitational Wave Data Analysis Workshop will be held in Potsdam, Germany from Dec 18th to Dec 21st 2006. Please visit our web pages at http://gwdaw11.aei.mpg.de/ to learn more about it. We suggest that you subscribe to the workshop mailing list to receive updates and be warned of upcoming deadlines.

This year the scientific organizing committee is trying to go back to more of a worskhop format, with "hot-themes" in every session and time for discussion. In every session time will be set aside to introduce the posters that will appear in the poster session. A few hours of the workshop will be devoted to the poster session and we anticipate that we will be able to have the posters on display for the entire meeting.

The meeting will be held at the Dorint Hotel, conveniently located near the center of Postdam. Fast internet access will be available at the conference site. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Dorint hotel for workshop attendees at a reduced rate.

Connections to Berlin are very straightforward: the journey from the Dorint hotel to Berlin Mitte can take less than 45 minutes. Shopping opportunities are plentiful in Potsdam itself and at this time of the year the typical Christmas markets are at their best.
